GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under general direction of the Director of Behavioral Health Services, the Mental Health Professional provides mental health services and supports to persons served and families to achieve rehabilitative, resiliency and recovery goals. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop person-centered behavior plans to support the individual behavior and skill development needs of each person served. As a member of the interdisciplinary team (IDT) represents Macon Resources, Inc. (MRI) in planning individualized programs, evaluating service effectiveness, and in assuring services are provided in accordance with local, state and federal laws; licensure/certification/accreditation standards; and agency policies and procedures.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, psychology, pastoral counseling, or
A bachelors degree in any other field with two years of documented clinical experience in a mental health setting under the supervision of a QIDP. One year experience with the developmentally disabled and/or DD/MI.
Must be able to counsel, advise, teach, resolve conflicts, and direct persons served and families.
