Clinics of North Texas is seeking a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Counselor to join our growing, physician-owned multi-specialty clinic. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with strong support from primary care and specialty providers.
Position Overview:
The Mental Health Counselor will provide high-quality mental health services to patients of all ages, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety of behavioral health conditions. This role plays a key part in supporting whole-person care within our integrated clinic setting.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday | Full-Time | No weekends
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, and/or group counseling
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists for coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and coping strategies
Qualifications:
- Licensed in Texas (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Strong clinical assessment and counseling skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
