Mental Health Counselor

• Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Professional Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Eligible to obtain or currently holds the appropriate Pennsylvania licensure required to practice under supervision (LAPC or equivalent).
• Strong clinical interviewing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while actively engaging in supervision and consultation.
• Commitment to ethical practice and professional development.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or families is preferred but not required.

Supervision and Professional Development
-Individual clinical supervision provided by a Licensed Psychologist.
-Supervision hours count toward Pennsylvania licensure requirements.

• Provide individual, family, couples, and group counseling services as appropriate.
• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in regularly scheduled individual and group clinical supervision required for licensure.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, primary care providers, schools, and other community professionals as appropriate.
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated.
• Respond appropriately to crisis situations and follow agency safety protocols.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and state licensing regulations.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.
