Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Coordinator to provide clinical mental health services within a correctional facility setting. This role focuses on delivering non-medical mental health care, including assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention, while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health screenings and comprehensive assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional levels
- Provide counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention services to inmates
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all evaluations and treatment activities
- Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive patient information
- Apply evidence-based psychological counseling techniques in treatment delivery
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution
Licensure & Certification:
- Active and valid LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in the state of practice
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license preferred (if required by contract)
Schedule & Additional Information
- 8-hour day shifts with weekday and weekend coverage as required
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Candidates must be flexible based on client scheduling needs

Clearance Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required for ICE clearance
- Candidates will undergo a thorough background and credit check
- ICE clearance timeline: Approximately 4 6 weeks
