Job Title: Mental Health Coordinator - LPC, LCSW, LMFT
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Coordinator to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and providing non-medical clinical mental health services within our facility. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing comprehensive mental health screenings, assessments, and treatment interventions with professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and review of available records
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on client needs and assessments
- Document all treatment activities and evaluations accurately in the health care records
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques
- Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention to address the needs of inmates
- Perform these duties at a steady pace consistent with job performance requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
- Social Security card and drivers license required for facility clearance
- Ability to work days, 8-week initial duration
