Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and active license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in California.
- Demonstrated knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques.
- Proven ability to conduct mental health assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver crisis interventions.
- Excellent documentation skills with attention to confidentiality and compliance standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to perform all job functions efficiently at a pace consistent with clinical standards.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working within correctional or institutional environments.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health services.
- Current CA licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work day or evening shifts, including weekends, with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- Must hold an active CA license and be a US citizen to obtain ICE clearance (expedited process available).
- Ability to undergo thorough background and credit investigations for security clearance.
- Flexibility to start as soon as ICE clearance is received; ICE clearance process takes approximately 4-6 weeks.
