Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid and active license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in California.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques.
  • Proven ability to conduct mental health assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver crisis interventions.
  • Excellent documentation skills with attention to confidentiality and compliance standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to perform all job functions efficiently at a pace consistent with clinical standards.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working within correctional or institutional environments.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health services.
  • Current CA licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work day or evening shifts, including weekends, with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
  • Must hold an active CA license and be a US citizen to obtain ICE clearance (expedited process available).
  • Ability to undergo thorough background and credit investigations for security clearance.
  • Flexibility to start as soon as ICE clearance is received; ICE clearance process takes approximately 4-6 weeks.
