Why Join Our Team?

  • Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a per diem MHA (mental health associate) to work the day shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH). This position is within Behavioral Health Float. The MHA will be floated to multiple units.
  • Our inpatient psychiatric services provide short-term stabilization and treatment for mental health disorders. We provide care in a secure calm environment where patients can focus on healing. Daily psychiatrist visits and around-the-clock medical supervision help patients on their journey to better mental health.
  • Location: Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road Princeton NJ).

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The Mental Health Associate assists Registered Nurses in providing direct psychiatric and medical care to patients.
  • The Mental Health Associate participates as a member of the treatment team in creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Required to work one 7am-3:30pm shift a week.

What We Require for this Role:

Education

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (required).
  • Education specialization: Social Science preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Salary Range:

$18.11 - $28.86/Hourly
