Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:
- Deliver individual life management consultations utilizing evidence‑based practices, providing guests with personalized guidance and actionable strategies.
- Conduct thorough guest assessments, complete timely progress notes, and ensure clear inter‑staff communication and follow‑up care related to all consultations.
- Design, develop, and present educational programs, including lectures, workshops, and group sessions, on a wide range of Mental Health topics.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of program offerings by identifying guest needs, proposing new topics, and integrating current research into curriculum development.
- Represent the Mental Health & Wellness department with professionalism, delivering supportive, insightful, and transformative experiences for guests.
Qualifications:
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Hold a Master’s or Ph.D. in clinical psychology, counseling, or social work, with active licensure in the state as a clinical/counseling psychologist, licensed mental health counselor, or licensed clinical social worker.
- Bring a minimum of five years of clinical experience addressing a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, weight management, sleep disorders, and relationship concerns.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong computer proficiency to support accurate documentation and client communication.
- Possess advanced clinical assessment abilities, sound clinical judgment, and the capacity to quickly establish rapport with diverse clients.
- Deliver effective, solution-focused counseling in fast-paced, client‑centered settings.
- Preferred expertise includes biofeedback, hypnotherapy, meditation training, personality assessment, and cognitive assessment.
