Mendix Delivery Lead/Scrum Master
We are seeking an experienced Mendix Delivery Lead / Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for enterprise software initiatives. This role is responsible for driving Scrum execution, facilitating collaboration across business and technology teams, and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
Required: Candidates must have experience working on a Mendix application project. A Mendix application is built using the Mendix low-code platform for developing enterprise web and mobile applications

Agile Delivery Lead / Scrum Master that serves as a key delivery leader within the Information Technology organization, responsible for enabling the successful delivery of software solutions across multiple applications, business domains, and technology platforms. This role drives Agile execution, fosters collaboration between business and technology teams, removes delivery obstacles, and promotes continuous improvement to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered efficiently and aligned with strategic business objectives.
The Agile Delivery Lead/ Scrum Master partners with Product Owners, Development Teams, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders to facilitate planning, execution, and delivery while maintaining visibility into priorities, dependencies, risks, and outcomes across the product portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead Agile delivery activities for multiple software development teams supporting enterprise applications, digital products, integrations, and technology platforms.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives while ensuring meetings are outcome-focused and action-oriented.
Partner with Product Owners to maintain prioritized backlogs that align business value, strategic objectives, and technical requirements.
Coordinate delivery efforts across multiple applications and platforms while managing inter-team dependencies, resource constraints, and competing priorities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and solution delivery.
Proactively identify, escalate, and help resolve delivery risks, roadblocks, and impediments that impact team performance or project outcomes.
Monitor sprint and release progress, team capacity, velocity trends, and key delivery metrics to provide transparency into execution and forecasted outcomes.
Support release planning and roadmap execution by helping teams balance business priorities, technical debt, production support activities, and enhancement requests.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Agile maturity, team effectiveness, predictability, and delivery quality.
Promote accountability, collaboration, and a culture of ownership across cross-functional teams.
Ensure user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements are sufficiently defined and ready for development.
Provide leadership reporting and status communications regarding project health, key accomplishments, risks, dependencies, and upcoming milestones.
Serve as a trusted advisor to Product Owners and technology leaders on Agile best practices, delivery optimization, and organizational effectiveness.
Support governance, portfolio management, and PMO processes to maintain alignment between project execution and enterprise objectives.

Enhanced Competencies

Advanced knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Proven ability to support and coordinate delivery across multiple enterprise applications, digital products, integrations, cloud platforms, and technology teams.
Strong facilitation, coaching, and servant leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment without direct authority.
Experience managing dependencies, competing priorities, and risks across large-scale technology portfolios.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
Ability to translate strategic business objectives into actionable delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
Expertise in Agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Planview, or similar enterprise platforms.
Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement initiatives that improve Agile maturity, team performance, predictability, and delivery quality.
Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present project health, risks, dependencies, and progress to leadership.
Strong organizational awareness and the ability to navigate complex cross-functional environments involving business, architecture, development, infrastructure, QA, and support teams.
Experience supporting product-based delivery models and continuous backlog management across multiple business domains.

Experience & Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

7+ years of experience leading Agile software delivery initiatives within enterprise environments.
5+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, or similar role supporting multiple development teams and platforms.
Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise application portfolios, integrations, cloud-based solutions, digital products, and multi-platform technology environments.
Experience coordinating delivery across cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent initiatives, dependencies, releases, and stakeholder groups.
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent) required; advanced Agile certifications preferred.
Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus) preferred.
Experience supporting product-centric delivery organizations and enterprise transformation initiatives preferred.

Must work onsite - 4 days in Dallas, Texas
Must be open to 6-12 month contract
