Memory Care Specialist - Recreation Assistant

Legacy Retirement Residence of Mesa is looking for a full-time Memory Care Specialist - Recreation Assistant to join our team in Mesa, AZ. This position pays $17 or more per hour and comes with full-time benefits, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, disability coverage, and a 401(k) with company match.

This is a full-time position with a set schedule from Sunday through Thursday. The schedule is predictable and gives you the chance to get to know our residents and work with them throughout the week. WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A MEMORY CARE SPECIALIST - RECREATION ASSISTANT?

As a Memory Care Specialist - Recreation Assistant, you will spend your days helping plan and lead activities for our memory care residents. You will help create and keep up the monthly activity calendar. You will run both group and one-on-one recreational and therapeutic activities to keep residents active and engaged. Sometimes you will also help with transportation needs. Every day, you will work to build warm and positive relationships with the residents, making sure they feel welcome and cared for.
