The Fitness Consultant promotes and sells gym memberships, renewals, and upgrades.
Major duties include generating sales through walk-ins, outreach, and promotions, maintaining accurate records, following up with prospects, conducting gym tours and inquiries, and establishing community lead boxes and referral programs.
They must stay current on pricing, promotions, and policies, develop selling skills, participate in meetings and training, and foster positive staff relationships.
Qualifications include a high school diploma (some college preferred), strong sales and customer service skills, computer proficiency, CPR certification, and the ability to meet sales goals.
Compensation ranges from $1,250 to $6,000 per month.
