The Organization:
Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District is home to 18,000+ residents. Formed initially as Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 2 in 1977, BCMUD provides water and wastewater services, recreational activities, beautiful gardens, parks, and miles of trails through the Brushy Creek community. BCMUD operates four swimming pools, four tennis courts, and a disc golf course throughout the community.
At the heart of our District is the Brushy Creek Community Center. Our Community Center features two gyms, two racketball courts, weight room, rock wall, and recreational programming, including various fun activities, educational and fitness classes.
Brushy Creek employs approximately 190 seasonal, part-time, and full-time team members.
Member Services Representative:
The Member Services Representative delivers exceptional front-time clerical and customer support services to members and guest of the Brushy Creek Community Center.
Job Duties:
Reception: Greets and assists patrons in the front lobby reception area, supports check-in process, directs individuals to appropriate resource such as classes or programs, answers calls for Brushy Creek Community Center, and maintains a clean and welcoming lobby and coffee bar.
Facility Access Control: Serves as the primary point of access to the Community Center by monitoring entry to member areas, enforcing rules and regulations for both members and patrons, and explaining the purpose and importance of those policies. Manages and distributes keys to the janitor's closet, storage areas, and meeting rooms.
Member Services: Responds to inquiries and provides information about programs, services, and amenities. Conducts tours of the Community Center for prospective and current members.
Clerical Duties: Accurately enters data into relevant systems and files paperwork. Tracks and updates logs, including day passes, cash journals, and cleaning records.
Non-Member Sales: Sells day passes to non-members. Ensures accurate transactions and provides quality customer service.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintains cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned areas. Cleans and upkeeps the Administration lobby Waterfall Fountain. Ensures furniture and common areas remain clean and presentable.
Operational Support: Assists with setup and breakdown of chairs, tables, and equipment for rentals, programming and internal meetings. Assist with rental check-in and check-out process, and adheres to District Polices and procedures for facility rentals Provides support across departments as needed.
Minimum Requirement:
Maintain current certification/license, or ability to attain certification/license within 90 days of hire:
American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.
Must be able to work flexible work schedules and irregular hours including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Schedule:
Friday (3:15pm to 9:15pm), Saturday (3:15pm to 9:15pm), and Sunday (9:30am to 6:00pm)
