About the Company
Our client is building the first AI junior architect, embedding AI directly into architectural workflows via Autodesk Revit and the broader AEC stack. The platform automates architecture documentation, drafting, rendering, and design grunt work through AI agents operating directly in professional workflows. Its customers include major global architecture firms — including one behind landmark skyscrapers — with a 1,000-designer rollout underway, and a major Middle East firm near signing. It's well-backed by top-tier venture firms, is currently around $500K ARR with ~$1M projected shortly, and holds a direct partnership with a frontier AI lab for fine-tuning access.
Founded 2025 · Seed · Industry: AI Tools / AEC
The Role
A Member of Technical Staff owning agent engineering and multimodal reasoning over real architectural workflows, working end to end in an ambiguous early-stage product environment.
What you'll own
- Agent engineering across context design, tool design, and reasoning loops over building models
- LLM and VLM multimodal reasoning over 2D drawings and 3D architectural geometry
- Deep platform integrations into Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, Procore, and the broader AEC ecosystem
- Evaluation harnesses to determine whether AI outputs meet architect quality standards
- Geometry- and drafting-generation systems for documentation and drawing automation
- Direct customer collaboration with architects to translate workflow needs into agent behavior
- Full end-to-end technical ownership
Requirements
- A strong AI product or engineering background
- Demonstrated agent-engineering experience — context-window design, tool orchestration, reasoning loops
- LLM and VLM fluency
- Strong problem-decomposition ability and high agency / founder-style execution
- Comfortable customer-facing and on video calls
- Heavy daily coding-agent usage (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar)
- Thrives in early-stage ambiguity
- On-site in SF, 5 days/week
Nice to Haves
- Built production agent systems end to end
- Vertical-AI experience (e.g., Harvey, Applied Intuition, Snorkel, Factory AI, or similar)
- A strong startup or early-hire signal
- A high-intensity product background (e.g., a Figma AI team or similar)
- A 3D, CAD, geometry, architecture, or construction-tech background
- TypeScript fluency
- Deep customer empathy paired with technical execution
Why Join
- Build the first AI junior architect: own agent engineering end to end over real architectural workflows, not a research sandbox
- Marquee traction: major global architecture firms as customers, with a 1,000-designer rollout underway
- Frontier access: a direct partnership with a frontier AI lab for fine-tuning, plus ~$500K ARR heading toward ~$1M
- Real equity: 0.5%–1.0% at the seed stage with two founding-level seats open
