We're hiring: Member Engagement Coordinator, Global Impact Council (Volunteer Leadership Role)
The Global Impact Council is a global community of changemakers across 24 U.S. states and 24 countries, driving environmental stewardship, civic service, and leadership development. Since launching in 2024, the council has grown to 220+ members and recognized outstanding volunteers with the Presidential Volunteer Service Award.
We're opening applications for four leadership positions to support the council's growth through the rest of 2026.
This role: Member Engagement Coordinator A council is only as strong as the community behind it. This role makes sure members feel connected, welcomed, and valued, focusing on the internal experience of membership across our global community and keeping our Slack workspace active and engaging.
What you'll do:
Time commitment: ~3-5 hrs/week, with a weekly Slack check-in with leadership
What you'll gain:
Who we're looking for: warm and personable, a strong communicator who makes people feel seen and included, observant, creative, reliable and consistent, comfortable working across time zones and cultures, and familiar with (or willing to learn) Slack.
This role runs through at least December 2026, with the option to continue through May 2027 or later. Applications close June 25, 2026, and are reviewed on a rolling basis. You'll be asked to rank your top 2 of the 4 open roles and explain your fit for each.
