Job Summary (List Format):

- Maintain and update Medtronic's StruxureWare Data Centre Operations Information Management system and documentation.
- Prepare and deliver reports on Data Centre utilization statistics.
- Conduct surveys of electrical systems in the data centre and lead improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain accurate records of maintenance, changes, problems, MOPs, and resolutions.
- Serve as key IT contact for the Woodbury site and collaborate with Woodbury facilities.
- Manage projects and locations in the Mid-West area and oversee MSP activities.
- Coordinate large-scale, multi-site infrastructure rollouts (e.g., SAP/HAHA, Data Centre Core Refresh).
- Gather, create, and document Disaster Recovery (DR) scenarios for the Woodbury Data Centre.
- Manage and support internal and external project implementations; attend meetings, ensure task completion, and provide project status updates.
- Utilize product management and application knowledge to guide customers through implementations.
- Leverage networking knowledge (ACI, Juniper) for infrastructure rollouts.
- Effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure proper product and site support.
- Support site teams in closet clean-up, switch port optimization, survey work, and standard setting.
- Own and manage documentation of DC team processes and procedures.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and installations with site teams.
- Ensure server and application compliance with security and performance standards.
- Contribute to training material development for seminars and online training.
- Provide IT support to staff and customers, responding to server and network issues.
- Work closely with Corporate Facilities and Co-Location vendors for onsite and offsite data centre facilities.
- Work within globally dispersed teams in a large, multi-national data centre environment (on-prem and co-located).
- Exercise strong leadership, self-management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Pay careful attention to detail in all tasks.
- Utilize ServiceNow and change control processes.
- Requires Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science or significant industry experience.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- (Nice to Have) Experience with infrastructure testing/validation, audit preparation, large corporate environments, hardware installation (DELL, HPE, Cisco, APC, Veritas), and work in medical regulated environments.
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
