    What You'll Do

    As a Medication Nursing Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our Assisted Living residents receive safe, timely, and compassionate medication administration while providing exceptional resident-centered care.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Administer physician-ordered oral, topical, suppository, otic, nasal, and ophthalmic medications to Assisted Living residents.
    • Consult with the Nurse Manager when residents request PRN (as-needed) medications.
    • Observe and promptly report changes in resident condition.
    • Maintain medication carts, cabinets, and storage areas.
    • Dispose of discontinued or expired medications according to policy.
    • Schedule medication refills to ensure uninterrupted resident care.
    • Build meaningful relationships with residents while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.

    Qualifications

    • Current State of New Hampshire Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) License
    • One year of long-term care experience preferred
    • Ability to accurately read medication orders and Medication Administration Records (MARs)
    • Strong observation, communication, and organizational skills
    • Professional appearance and adherence to Taylor Community's dress code, including guidelines regarding tattoos and jewelry

    • Full-Time
    • Second Shift
    • Every Other Weekend Required
