Medical Unit Receptionist - Med/Surg Nights

As our Night Shift Medical Unit Receptionist, you’ll support patients, families, and clinical staff during the quieter—but still critical—overnight hours. Department: Med/Surg 

Schedule: Full-Time, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

• Education: High school diploma required.
• Experience: One year experience in healthcare preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units.  Required.
• Additional skills preferred: Experience with answering multiple phone lines. Basic computer skills. Excellent customer service behaviors.

• Greet patients, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
• Keep communication flowing—phones, call lights, messages, you name it
• Support nurses and providers with essential clerical tasks
• Help coordinate admissions, discharges, and patient updates
• Keep the unit organized, stocked, and running like a well-oiled machine
