Duties and Responsibilities
- Drivers will be responsible for transporting clients to their appointments and other treatments safely and in timely manner
- Assures all tie down and wheelchair lifts and gurneys are secured properly
- Effectively communicate with clients, staff, families and other entities
- Follow schedules and assist clients on and off the vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
- Clean and inspect vehicles. Report all maintenances to immediate supervisor in timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Clean background check
- Current or complete CPR/First Aid Certification upon hire
- Clean drug screening
- Able to navigate and find locations using GPS
