Provide technical and administrative oversight for systemwide Point of Care testing (POCT) operations. Develop, implement, and maintain training and competency assessments for waived and non-waived POCT end users and testing personnel. Maintain good communication to include Pathology leadership, Providers, Nursing leadership, Respiratory Therapists, and nursing staff. Ensure regulatory compliance, maintain high-quality testing, and support timely diagnosis and patient care. Travel to offsite locations such as hospitals, healthplexes and clinics for audits, training, competency assessments, and workflow improvement. Coordinate with laboratory management, quality departments, vendors, and informatics.
