Medical Technologist (Travel)

Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Shift: Evenings, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Schedule: 5x8s, 40 hours/week
Duration: 13 Weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist experience within the specialty.
• Cerner experience required.
• Current certification by one of the following:
  • ASCP
  • AMT
  • AAB
• Only Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTg) or Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS) will be considered.
  • Medical Lab Technicians (MLT) are not eligible.
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with:
  • Sysmex analyzers
  • CellaVision digital cell imaging system
• Previous experience in a large acute-care hospital laboratory (600+ beds) with a high-volume workload.
• Strong competency performing manual differentials, particularly in neonatal patient populations.
• Experience evaluating and troubleshooting complex specimens, including:
  • Turbid samples
  • Platelet clumps
  • Abnormal cell findings
• Candidate should be able to transition quickly with minimal training in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
