A leading clinical laboratory services provider is seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join a high-performing laboratory team in Englewood, FL. The organization supports a wide network of acute care hospitals, physician practices, surgery centers, rehabilitation facilities, and healthcare clients across Florida.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and STAT laboratory testing with accuracy and efficiency
Process and analyze proficiency testing samples per established protocols
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patient results
Monitor pending logs and resolve outstanding test work
Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot specimen or result issues
Ensure turnaround time requirements are met for STAT orders
Apply independent judgment when reviewing and correlating results
Provide operational support in the absence of supervisory staff
Qualifications
Required:
Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
Active Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist/Technician License
Certification/eligibility in one or more areas:
Hematology
Chemistry
Microbiology
Blood Bank
Serology
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related discipline
1+ year of clinical laboratory experience
Generalist certification/license preferred
