Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Summit Healthcare Association.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be strong in neuro and cardiac skills.

Unit Details: - Heavy on telemetry. - Adult and pediatric patients; travelers do not take pediatric assignments. - Support staff on unit includes telemetry techs, charge nurse, HUCs, and PCTs. - Nurse to patient ratios: 1:5 days; 1:6 nights; 1:4 peds - also based on level of acuity. - Nurse managers don’t provide patient care, but they do rounds. - Hospitalist in house 24/7. - No IV team. - Respiratory therapist 24/7. - Pharmacy 24/7.

Floating Requirements: - Float to all MS units and ICU (taking MS overflow patients).

7 days maximum time off

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
