Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in good standing
- Recent charge nurse experience, with a minimum of 1 year preferred
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs
- Proficiency in Med/Surg nursing protocols and practices
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in busy hospital settings
- Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree
- At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Prior charge nurse or leadership roles in similar units
Other Requirements:
- Must verify housing arrangements prior to submission, as current housing is unavailable
- Ability to work 7 days on, 7 days off schedule
- Willingness to work night shifts
- Commit to maintaining all required medical and professional certifications
