Job Description
General Purpose of Job:
The Medical Student Coordinator oversees the administrative, scheduling, and operational support for medical students completing clinical rotations. Serving as the primary liaison between students, faculty, and clinical training sites, this role ensures smooth onboarding, accurate scheduling, compliance with accreditation standards, and consistent communication throughout the students clinical education experience.

Job Requirements
Work Experience Experience working collaboratively with faculty, students, and clinical staff. Prior administrative experience in a medical education or academic site preferred. Experience with scheduling systems or medical education platforms is a plus. Experience in a hospital, academic medical center, or GME/UME office preferred. Familiarity with AAMC Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) preferred. Understanding of clinical workflows and hospital operations preferred. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, Business, or a related field preferred. Specialized Knowledge and Skills Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills.
