Minimum Qualifications
One of the following:
Ability to maintain confidential and complex records and to prepare accurate reports
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Well-developed communications skills, both oral and written
Thorough knowledge of policies and regulations governing healthcare institutions and medical staff by-laws
Desired Qualifications
BS in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related area
Responsibilities:Coordinates duties and communications of medical staff officers and directs credentialing and on-boarding of residents and medical students. Helps to maintain positive and supportive medical staff relations by providing administrative assistance to senior medical staff. Provides support in addressing physician and physician office issues. Assists with tracking and reporting medical staff services budget and related bank accounts.
