Key RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage occupational health cases involving new hires, current employees, off-duty injuries, and occupational injuries/illnesses. Evaluate employee medical information and determine appropriate case actions using clinical judgment and occupational health best practices. Coordinate and manage the Return-to-Work (RTW) process, including work restrictions, accommodations, and fitness-for-duty determinations. Review medical documentation and ensure compliance with company policies, Federal regulations, and occupational health guidelines. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential employee medical records and case documentation. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, Human Resources, management, and internal Health Services teams to support employee health and safety initiatives. Monitor disability cases, medical restrictions, rehabilitation plans, and employee work status updates. Assess occupational injury and illness cases and recommend appropriate next steps based on clinical evaluation. Provide guidance regarding applicable occupational health regulations, policies, and procedures. Support workplace health, safety, compliance, and employee wellness initiatives. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Must have skills: Occupational Health, Disability Management, Return-to-Work, Clinical Case Management, Active clinical license (RN, NP, PA-C, or equivalent), Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher, Physician Assistant (PA), or Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN). Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher, Physician Assistant (PA), or Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN). Active clinical license (RN, NP, PA-C, or equivalent) or ability to obtain licensure in Georgia. Minimum 3+ years of Occupational Health experience. Experience managing occupational injury, illness, disability, and return-to-work cases. Strong knowledge of occupational health practices, employee health programs, and fitness-for-duty evaluations. Experience reviewing and interpreting medical documentation and work restrictions. Knowledge of disability management, rehabilitation management, and workers' compensation processes. Understanding of Federal regulations and occupational health guidelines. Strong case management, documentation, analytical, and decision-making skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Our client is a leading Railway industry , and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
