Job Title: Medical Sales Account Executive – Home Medical Equipment (MI)

Location: West Branch, MI (Serving Grayling, Mio, Harrisonville, Tawas City, Standish, Gladwin, and surrounding areas)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Territory: Central Michigan, with frequent local travel
Compensation: Starting at $45,000/year base + uncapped commission, with potential earnings up to $55,000+

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Medical Sales Account Executive to expand our presence in central Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-oriented sales professional who thrives on building strong referral partnerships and driving growth in the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will represent our comprehensive portfolio of home medical equipment solutions—including ventilators, oxygen therapy, sleep devices, wound care, and diabetic supplies—collaborating with hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Grow Referral Networks: Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, and other referral sources within the assigned territory.
  • Business Development: Prospect, present, and close new accounts while nurturing and expanding existing partnerships to increase revenue and market share.
  • Patient and Clinical Education: Conduct in-person visits to educate providers and staff on our equipment solutions, benefits, and services, ensuring they understand how our products meet patient needs.
  • Collaborative Support: Partner with local clinical and operational teams to facilitate seamless delivery, setup, and ongoing support of medical equipment.
  • Territory Management: Plan and execute call strategies using CRM tools, track activity and pipeline progress, and analyze territory trends.
  • Training & Development: Attend mandatory in-person sales training sessions and ongoing professional development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Maintain professionalism, respecting patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations at all times.

About You
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; CRM experience is a plus
  • Ability to discuss sensitive patient information respectfully and confidentially

Preferred Experience:
  • 2+ years of healthcare or B2B sales experience
  • Familiarity with respiratory equipment, ventilation, sleep therapy, diabetic supplies, or wound care products
  • Experience working with healthcare providers and referral partnerships
  • Leadership experience or proven ability to influence clinical decisions

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry medical equipment and supplies as needed
  • Frequent sitting, walking, and standing during customer visits
  • Close vision required for reading screens and documents
