White County Rehab & Nursing is hiring a full-time Medical Records & Transportation Coordinator in Carmi, IL.
This position supports both resident medical records and transportation services within our skilled nursing facility. We are seeking a dependable, organized individual who can maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy in a healthcare setting.
Pay
- $16.00 - $18.00/hr (non-CNA)
- $19.50 - $23.22/hr (CNA pay scale)
CNA certification preferred, but candidates willing to become CNA certified are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize resident medical records
- Scan, file, and review documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Schedule resident appointments and transportation
- Transport residents safely to medical appointments and related visits
- Maintain transportation logs and schedules
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and safety checks
- Follow HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
- Communicate effectively with staff, providers, and outside facilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare-related experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Dependable with strong professional communication
- Skilled nursing experience is a plus
