Job Title: Medical Records Retrieval Specialist
Location: Remote (Local Time Zone Alignment Required)
Job Type: W2 Contract
Expected Hours per Week: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible within standard business hours (e.g., 6–3 or 9–6). Occasional OT based on workload.
Position Description:
We are seeking a Medical Records Retrieval Specialist to support a high-volume, time-sensitive project focused on obtaining medical records from provider offices and healthcare facilities.
This role requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to manage shifting priorities while working in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Make high-volume outbound calls to provider offices and facilities to request medical records.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with providers to ensure timely record retrieval.
- Accurately track and document activity in internal database systems.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to manage and organize data.
- Handle multiple project-related tasks and adjust priorities as needed.
- Ensure timely follow-up and completion of record requests to meet project deadlines.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and phone skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Database entry and tracking experience.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Skills Preferred:
- Call center experience.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting.

- Medical office experience (required).
- Experience handling administrative or records-related tasks.
