Senate Bill 525 was signed into law by Governor Newsom in October 2023. Starting June 1, 2026, SB525 sets a new $25/hour minimum wage for nonexempt healthcare workers and raises the exempt employee salary threshold to $1,500/week (equivalent to $6,500/month or $78,000/year). In accordance with SB 525, as the offer amount outlined in this letter falls below the minimum salary required by the legislation, we will provide a supplementary amount to ensure compliance. The total compensation package, including this supplement, will meet the minimum salary standards set forth by SB 525.
