Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional and dependable Medical Receptionist to support a fast-paced outpatient healthcare clinic. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a medical office environment and possess strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. This role is responsible for supporting front office operations, assisting patients during check-in/check-out, and ensuring smooth daily clinic workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation
- Support front office operations and maintain an organized reception area
- Coordinate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow
- Perform general clerical, administrative, and data entry duties as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with healthcare standards and policies
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient healthcare clinic experience within the past 3 years required
- Experience in urgent care, family practice, internal medicine, or similar outpatient settings preferred
- Strong customer service and patient communication skills required
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time management abilities required
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with medical office systems required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or official transcripts required for verification
Additional Information:
- Candidates must successfully complete third-party employment verification
- Orientation during the first week will take place in Euless, TX
