Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Front Desk Specialist to manage phone calls, assist in-patient processes, and contribute to office staff coordination. You'll be the first point of contact and play a critical role in enhancing the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and direct phone calls in a timely manner
• Page physicians for in-patient hospital calls
• Direct calls to appropriate office staff
• Coordinate with Patient Advocate/New Patient Clinical staff on new patient processes
• Prepare and update New Patient (NP) packets
• Assist with scanning and patient call backs
• Attend and actively participate in staff meetings
• Travel as needed to cover other clinic locations 2-3 times per month

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and reliability
• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred
• Knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes preferred

• Proficient in managing phone calls and administrative tasks
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
