Medical Receptionist

Nesco Resource is recruiting for a short-term contract role for 2-3 months for a Medical Receptionist to cover a leave of absence.

Duties will include

• Greeting patients upon arrival
• Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
• Distributing all required forms, gathering pertinent information and flagging any missing documents on the patient files
• Answering incoming phone calls, resolving issues and/or routing calls.
• Prepare records for transfer of information to other health care providers, patients, attorneys, etc. keeping with established policies and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
• Verify payer information on all new patients.
• Periodically confirm patient eligibility by various payers and update computer system as indicated

Well qualified candidates will
Have a min of 1 year of experience in a medical or dental office setting in a similar role
Have experience using Medent
Have an extreme amount of patience, emotional intelligence and a caring attitude
Have strong customer service experience and mindset


This role is 8am-4pm Mon -Fri with a 30 min lunch
