What You Bring to the Table.
- Previous medical receptionist or medical office experience preferred
- Experience verifying insurance and collecting copays strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office environment
- Professional appearance and dependable attendance required
From Clock In to Clock Out.
- Answer and manage multiline phone systems
- Greet and check in patients professionally
- Verify medical insurance information and eligibility
- Collect copays and patient payments
- Schedule appointments and update patient records
- Enter and maintain information within EMR systems
- Assist with general front office and administrative duties
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
