Title: Medical Provider - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Summary:
Responsibilities include all aspects of patient care, diagnosis, treatments, and consultations, managing health problem and coordinating health care for the prospective patient in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations. Perform the important task of educating patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments. Maintaining the medical department to comply with all governmental, state, and local regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans and prognoses.
- Perform DOT and NON-DOT Physicals in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)
- Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Detect and respond to adverse drug reactions, with special attention to vulnerable populations such as infants, children, pregnant and lactating women, or older adults.
- Diagnose or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.
- Recommend diagnostic or therapeutic interventions with attention to safety, cost, invasiveness, simplicity, acceptability, adherence, and efficacy.
- Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized.
- Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients' individual circumstances.
- Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate, or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
- Compute, enter, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports.
- Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
- Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Maintain medicine cabinet supplies and equipment. for medical compliance.
- Work outside of scheduled hours as needed and arranged.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Program
- National Certified Medical Examiner (NCME) Certification
- Current provider card in basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Credentials and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience
