Title: Medical Practice Patient Representative Office Assistant with NHMP with Highland Physician Practice located in Highland, NY.
40 hours per week - Variable 8 hour shifts between 8:45am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday.
Summary: Provides clerical and administrative support and coordinates the patient care activities for medical practice.
Responsibilities:
• Greets and welcomes patients upon arrival and communicates pleasantly and effectively. • Ensures accuracy of patients information, including demographics and insurance. • Answers phones, routes calls, takes messages, and assures accurate communication - both verbally and via the EMR system. • Registers, verifies, and schedules patient appointments, testing, and referrals. • Schedules and reschedules appointments according to office protocols. • Monitors applications and manages worklists as applicable. • Collects co-pays and reconciles money for deposit. • Obtains and coordinates record retrieval for new and established patients. • Performs intake and processing of medical records and other documentation where applicable. • Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position. • Maintains and models the Organizations values. • Demonstrates regular, dependable, and predictable attendance. • Performs other duties as required.
Salary Range: $18.13 - $34.50 Hourly
