The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s Endocrinology and Diabetes Clinic in Kansas City is seekinga Medical Office Specialist to join our team. You willwork to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances,while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct.
Shift Details: Full Time Day
The Work:
Answersthe telephone
Communicatesmessages through email or Epic
Greets,registers,andschedulespatient appointments
Collectspatient copayments
Makesappointment reminder calls
Verifiesinsurance and other patient data is accurate
Scansand/or uploadspatient information topatientselectronic chart
Referrals - research, verify, call and schedule appointment
We are seeking individuals whoare able toprovide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including:medical records,scheduling,insurance verification,patient referrals,etc. and the ability to float between multiple locations as assigned.
