BayCare is currently in search of our newest Medical Office Representative who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Job Details

  • Status: Full-time
  • Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (may vary)
  • Shift Days: Monday through Friday
  • Location: Required to travel throughout Hillsborough and/or Pasco County
  • Weekend Work: None
  • On Call: No
  • Always in person

About the Role

As a Medical Office Representative, you will support front desk operations in a busy physicians office, performing all duties related to revenue cycle operations, including:

  • Check-in and check-out
  • Collecting payments
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Handling patient inquiries
  • Scheduling procedures and surgeries
  • Entering orders and utilizing various computer programs to manage schedules
  • Handling patient issues
  • Recording patient information and various other administrative support duties

The role requires utilizing multiple computer systems, multi-tasking, critical thinking skills to track follow-up and ensure task completion. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 6 months of healthcare or 6 months of Customer Service
  • High School or Equivalent
  • Highly preferred physician office experience
