POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you’ll be the warm, welcoming face of our Lakewood Clinic. You’ll play a key role in making patients feel cared for and supported — from the moment they walk through the door to the time they leave.

What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist patients with check-in and scheduling in a friendly, professional manner
- Verify insurance and collect payments accurately in Athena EMR
- Prepare for next-day appointments by confirming eligibility and ensuring records are complete
- Answer phone calls, return messages, and assist patients with questions promptly
- Keep the front office organized, efficient, and welcoming
- Support your clinic teammates and communicate clearly to maintain excellent patient flow
- Uphold HIPAA standards and patient confidentiality at all times
- Perform other administrative or clinic support duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of medical office experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Friendly, patient-focused attitude with attention to detail
- Experience using EHR systems (Athena preferred)
