Location: Various locations across Georgia

As a Medical Office Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of a healthcare facility, ensuring efficient administrative processes while providing excellent service to patients and staff. Your role will be essential in maintaining the smooth functioning of the office and supporting healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administrativefunctions of the medical office, including scheduling, patientregistration, and medical record management.
  • Ensure compliance withhealthcare regulations and standards, maintaining confidentiality andsecurity of patient information.
  • Coordinate patientappointments, managing the scheduling system to optimize workflow andminimize wait times.
  • Serve as the primary pointof contact for patients, addressing inquiries and concerns while providingexceptional customer service.
  • Manage billing and insuranceprocesses, including verifying patient insurance coverage and processingclaims.
  • Supervise administrativestaff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to fostera productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcareproviders to ensure effective communication and coordination of patientcare.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment, managing inventory and vendor relationships as needed
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in HealthAdministration, Business Administration, or a related field; Bachelor'sdegree preferred.
  • Previous experience in amedical office or healthcare setting, with at least two years in anadministrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of medicalterminology, billing procedures, and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent organizational andmultitasking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in electronichealth record (EHR) systems and office software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
