About the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our physician office laboratory team. This role supports both waived and moderate complexity testing in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely results while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
What you'll do:
- Perform waived and moderate complexity testing under supervision
- Collaborate closely with clinical and operations teams
- Prepare, label, and process specimens accurately
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (chemistry, hematology, POC devices)
- Perform and document quality control (QC) procedures
- Enter and verify results in the EMR (Athena)
- Review patient visit requirements in the EMR
- Prepared for next-day patient visits by organizing required specimen collection tubes and visit materials
- Assist with send-out testing and specialty kits
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper supply levels
- Follow all CLIA, OSHA, and safety guidelines
- Demonstrates flexibility in supporting daily operational needs
Compensation:
$30-34
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related science field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferrered:
- MLT (ASCP) or AMT certification
- Experience in a physician office or outpatient lab setting
- Experience with moderate complexity testing
