Job Summary
Our Medical Technologist performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory. The commitment to service safety and professionalism is critical to achieving the best experience for our patients. What You Will Do In This Role
You will perform chemical bacteriological serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
You will maintain records of performance patient results and quality control. You will maintain equipment record preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment.
You will assist with laboratory training programs as required.
What qualifications you will need
Bachelors Degree is required
Medical Laboratory Scientist or Certified Medical Lab or Certified Lab Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Lab Scientist or American Medical Technologist is required
At least one year experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Medical City Weatherford is a 100 bed acute-care hospital. We serve Parker County and surrounding communities. Our medical staff represents 30 medical specialties. Our health care services include inpatient and outpatient care medical-surgical and emergency care. We are a designated Comprehensive Level II Stroke Facility and Level IV Trauma Center. Our hospital is a Level I Neonatal Facility and a Chest Pain-Accredited facility.
