Job Summary


The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) performs complex laboratory testing and analysis to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, independent judgment, and responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results.


Key Responsibilities


  •  Perform high complexity laboratory testing across multiple disciplines (chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood bank, immunology) 
  •  Analyze and interpret laboratory results and report findings 
  •  Ensure quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance 
  •  Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments 
  •  Train and mentor laboratory staff and students 
  •  Assist in developing and updating laboratory procedures 
  •  Communicate critical results to healthcare providers
