Medical Lab Technician Student - Funding Healthcare Futures - Lake West - (250008BX)

 

** This position is only for students interested in the Lab Funding Healthcare Futures Program - earn up to $15K

Individuals in this role:

• Perform sample processing of all sample types
• Set up of inpatient and outpatient orders with minimal error rate.
• Ordering/receiving samples in soft for processing and the DEM (ER) desk
• Soarian registration of patients for shell visits
• Run blood gasses
• Load the analyzers and the automation line
• Tube track samples
• Assist with misc. lab tasks (cleaning, filing, unboxing and processing shipments)
• Accessioning
• Aliquoting
• Answering phones

Please note:  Responsibilities vary by lab and shift worked

 

 

• High School Equivalent / GED
• Must be enrolled in good standing in the a Medical Laboratory Technician Program
• Previous laboratory related experience preferred
