What Youll Bring to the Table:
Proven experience in blood bank procedures and testing
Strong knowledge of laboratory testing, quality control, and safety protocols
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-volume trauma settings
Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Nice to Have Skills:
Additional certifications in laboratory science or specialized areas
Experience working with advanced lab instrumentation
Familiarity with hospital trauma protocols and emergency testing procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
AS or BS degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years experience working in a clinical laboratory, preferably in a blood bank setting
Other Requirements:
Current licensure or certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT)
Ability to work the night shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts), including nights and weekends as needed
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for work-related reimbursements where applicable
