Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of recent laboratory experience in a clinical setting
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC
Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
Certification from ASCP (MLT or MLS) or AMT is required
Strong knowledge of chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, manual testing, and rapid diagnostics (Covid, Influenza)
Ability to perform manual body fluid and CSF cell counts and differentials
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
Prior travel laboratory experience
Experience with transfusion services and central processing
Additional certifications or specialized training in laboratory techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent
At least one year of recent, relevant clinical laboratory experience
Recent proficiency in EPIC EMR system
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work night shift (20:30 - 07:00), four days per week (Monday through Thursday)
Ability to adapt to a 10-hour shift schedule
Travel experience is a plus
Certification renewal and licensure as required by governing bodies
