Job Summary:
Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader and/or supervisor, and according to defined protocols, performs select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens, involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems. May perform phlebotomy as needed. null
Skills: Required Skills & Experience:
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions.
Education: Required Education:
Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science.
Preferred Education: Certification & Licensure:
Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA).

Required:
Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science, Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA), Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in this role or similar, Experience with Beckman Coulter equipment (with AU system experience preferred).
Candidates with Sunquest LIS experience and automation experience are preferred.
