What Youll Do:
- Perform routine and specialized compatibility testing in the blood bank including ABO/Rh/Antibody screening, antibody typing, and crossmatching
- Prepare blood components for transfusion needs
- Process specimens efficiently for both pediatric and adult patients
- Support transfusion services and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Float between Methodist, University, and Riley hospitals, providing flexible expertise
- Adapt to changing schedules with orientation on day shift initially for training
What You Need:
- Valid ASCP-MLS or ACP-BB certification; no MLTs accepted
- Experience with specimen processing and blood bank testing methods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work every other weekend and one holiday if it falls during contract
- Effective communication skills and team-oriented attitude

This blood bank laboratory performs routine and specialized compatibility testing, supporting a range of transfusion needs for pediatric and adult patients.
