What Youll Do
- Perform routine and specialized compatibility testing in blood bank procedures
- Process specimens including ABO/Rh, antibody screens, and identification
- Conduct antibody typing using tube methods and electronic crossmatching
- Prepare blood components for transfusion based on compatibility results
- Support transfusion needs for both pediatric and adult patients
- Work independently during night shift in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
What You Need
Required:
- Active ASCP-MLS or ASCP-BB certification
- Blood bank experience, especially in large facility settings
- Ability to work independently on night shift
- Strong technical skills in specimen processing, antibody testing, and crossmatching
Preferred:
- Blood bank experience in high-volume laboratories
- Blood bank leadership or troubleshooting skills
