Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Scientist – Microbiology to support our client’s medical facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a 3-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
 
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Lab Scientist to join our client’s Microbiology team in Baltimore, MD. This is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory professional with strong microbiology experience who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is looking for a contract role with possible long-term potential.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, process, and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
  • Perform microbiology testing and culture set-ups
  • Read bacteriology plates/media and interpret susceptibilities
  • Maintain accurate quality control documentation and records
  • Support laboratory maintenance and compliance procedures
  • Collaborate closely with laboratory staff and team leads
 
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related Biological Science required
  • Minimum of 1 years of documented microbiology experience, specifically reading bacteriology plates/media
  • Experience working in a Microbiology Lab environment required
 
Additional Information:  
  • Location: Baltimore, MD
  • Job Type: 03 Months (Contract to Hire)
  • Pay Range: $38 - $43 hourly
  • Shifts:1st Shift (7 AM – 3:30 PM)
